| Golden State Valkyries | 68 ✓ |
The Golden State Valkyries closed out the 2026 WNBA season with a narrow 68-64 win over the Atlanta Dream, holding on down the stretch to secure the final result of the year. The four-point margin kept things tense until the final buzzer, but Golden State did enough to walk away with the win in front of their home crowd.
Atlanta's offense struggled to find a consistent rhythm, finishing below 65 points in a game that had postseason implications in its competitive spirit even at season's end. Golden State's defense was the difference, limiting second-chance opportunities and forcing enough turnovers to control the close-game dynamics.
