Off Day

No games yesterday. No games today. The league takes a breath on July 1st, and so do we.

With the calendar flipping to July, this is a good moment to zoom out. The second half of the WNBA season is where rosters get tested, trade deadline maneuvering heats up, and playoff seeding starts to matter in real, game-by-game terms. Every game from here forward carries more weight.

What to Watch For

• Injury reports: The first half grind leaves its marks. Watch for updated availability lists as teams return from the break.
• Rotation changes: Coaches often make quiet adjustments coming out of off days. Box scores in the next few games will tell the story.
• Standings tightness: In a 12-team league, a two-game swing can move you from a top seed to the play-in. Keep an eye on the standings page.
